“The remote hamlet of Paraloup deserves to go down in history because it was the scene of an awareness that no one could ever erase.”
Mario Giovana
A site-specific space available to host art installations and dedicated exhibitions.
The Baita Perona is the first building one encounters when arriving at Paraloup and which welcomes visitors. It was named after Adriano Perona, mayor of Rittana during the years of reconstruction of the hamlet, of which he was an enthusiastic promoter.
Today it is a site-specific space available to host dedicated art installations and exhibitions.
The artists involved in the Artistic Resistance programme will be able to experiment with co-creative processes, thanks to artistic residencies in the Borgata, dialoguing and relating to the dimension of this place.
